Salary Range: $23.00 - 32.39 per hour
Non-Exempt, Full-Time: 40 HRS PER WEEK
General Description: Primary function is janitorial services for all facilities, buildings, restrooms, and parks. Picks up and empties trash from all buildings, streets, City parking lots and parks; cleans and sanitizes restrooms; repairs vandalism damage to buildings and grounds. Performs general maintenance on City facilities and parks, including playground equipment, benches, gates and fencing. Mows, trims, plants, cultivates, prunes, and waters trees, shrubs, and flowers. Performs minor plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks. Works with Public Works crew in maintenance of public works systems, structures, and facilities.
General Requirements: Minimum High School graduate or equivalent. Possession of, or ability to obtain and retain, a valid Oregon driver’s license. General building and grounds maintenance which includes landscaping practices and techniques: safety rules and precautions; safe use of vehicles, tools, and equipment required to perform duties. Plumbing and carpentry skills a plus.
