All nominees are interviewed and appointed by the City Council at a regularly scheduled meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.

Reviews annual proposed budget, makes recommendations, takes public comment & recommends approval to Council & Urban Renewal Agency.

Makes recommendations to City related to Harbor Operations.

Administers the Land Use/Zoning code, reviews applications for land use matters, holds public hearings, enforces standards.

Advises the Council on emergency preparedness matters to ensure Depoe Bay is in a high state of readiness.

The Commission recommends and makes suggestions to the City and City Council concerning the planning for future growth, development, and improvement with respect to parks and trails, recommend improvements and maintenance, and recommend proposed leases.

Urban Renewal Agency - Two (2) Vacant Positions
Urban Renewal Agency members also serve on the Urban Renewal Budget Committee
The Urban Renewal Agency was formed to address blight within the City of Depoe Bay. The Council makes up the majority of the Agency; however, two citizen members at large are also part of the Agency.

The Salmon Enhancement Commission seeks to protect and increase the population of salmonids in the city harbor water basin.
