Water/Sewer Service

To establish service, a signed Application for Water and Sewer Service must be received from the property owner. All accounts must be set-up in the name of the property owner, and billings remain in the owner’s name, even if a tenant occupies the premises.    

For new developments including single family dwellings, effective date of service begins with the date of meter installation.

Water/Sewer accounts are billed bi-monthly.

Charges & Fees

Basic Water and Sewer service charges for a single family per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU)

  • Water $56.96 plus Usage: $4.29 per 1,000 gallons    
  • Sewer $51.51 plus Usage: $5.46 per 1,000 gallons

New Customer Processing fee $25 (on first bill)
Turn-off Notice (delinquent account) $30/notice
Turn-on or Turn-off Water
(either for past due accounts or at customer’s request)

Customers in the former Miroco Water District area are subject to an additional fee. 

Bills are mailed out on the last business day of the two-month billing period. Payment is due 10 days from the postmarked date on the bill, and is considered delinquent after 30 days, per City of Depoe Bay Ordinance #251.

Delinquent accounts receive a Turn-off Notice and are assessed a $30 Late Fee.
